About

Sharona GottliebAn arbiter of style, Sharona brings her own unique sense of color and composition to design. Known for her attention to detail, she hones in on the elements that make a compelling frame; allowing viewers to see themselves in the scene. Whether you are seeking a stylist or production artist, Sharona combines her two loves, communication and the visual arts, to great effect.

A Brooklyn native, Sharona studied marketing at Hofstra University and was a provost ambassador to participate in a cultural exchange program at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating cum laude, she trained at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco and received an Associate’s degree in Visual Communications. While a student at FIDM, Sharona interned for a variety of establishments, spicing up visual displays for Anthropologie and A La Folie Lingerie shop.

Sharona has staged a variety of photo shoots, ranging from fashion to lifestyle. Since graduating FIDM, she has worked as a production assistant for a San Fransico-based photographer, maintaining the studio’s blog, fulfilling production with photoshop finesse and managing the day-to-day operations at the shop. She improved the business and creative sides of the shop by making customer satisfaction a top priority. In doing so, this ensured timely responses were made to inquiries and photography stayed fresh utilizing a variety of props for new sets and uniquely designed wall pieces.

Her favorite colors are purple, copper and turquoise. Her dream is to meet Li Edelkoort, Patricia Fields and Janie Bryant; trend forecaster/publisher of Bloom Magazine, wardrobe stylists of Sex and the City and Mad Men respectively. She is partial to tulips and a lover of all things vintage. Judging by her Taschen book collection, Sharona is an art director in the making!
